Pirandello: Nem tudni, hogyan
A színdarab szereplői, a két házaspár Giorgio és Ginevra illetve Romeo és Bice is ezeket a kérdéseket teszik fel maguknak és egymásnak. Giorgio 8 hónapos tengeri út után érkezik haza, mialatt felesége a baráti házaspárnál töltötte az utolsó három hónapot. Ki mit követett el? A helyzetüket még bonyolítja, hogy a színen megjelenik az ötödik, a csábító Respi és ekkor beindul egy egyfajta pszicho-krimi.

A "nyomozás" során kiderülnek régi, elkövetett és csak képzeletben elkövetett bűnök. Kiderül, hogy senki és semmi nem olyan, mint amilyennek látszik. Mivel a történet a valóságban is és a pszichében is játszódik, nem nélkülözi a filozófiai "játékokat".

As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
