A 2003-ban bemutatott Gyévuskában főtisztek, tisztek, honvédek, valamint hozzátartozóik és munkaszolgálatosok bonyolítják a második világháború korában játszódó (de nem feltétlenül kizárólag arról is szóló) cselekményt, laktanyában, bálteremben és a távoli orosz rónákon – egy kissé (el)emelten, Pucciniba oltott slágerek, magyar nóták és katonaindulók mentén.
