1013 hajó. 43 görög hős. 30 hadtest. Egy ostrom. Három Istennő, egy alma, egy szerelem. Hősök. Ügyes eskü. Istenek a hegyormon. (Páholyból szemlélik a vérontást.) 10 év. Egy megoldás.
Szembenézni a múlttal? Magunkkal? Hogy mivé válhatunk? Mit jelent hősnek lenni? Akkor mit jelentett, és most mit jelent? Vannak még hősök? Vagy mi teremtjük őket? Vagy a helyzetek? Vagy a szükség? Ők kellenek nekünk, vagy mi nekik? A hősöknek kellenek hősök?
Most ő kell a győzelemhez. Ő és az íja. Odüsszeusz és Neoptolemosz - Akhilleusz egy szem fia, amúgy - együtt indulnak el, hogy megnyerjék a háborút. Cél az örök hírnév és ragyogás.
Our offer
The tenor, recently awarded the title of Austrian Kammersänger, began his career on operetta stages. After performing in operas by Mozart, Beethoven, and Weber, he has since grown into one of the most significant Wagnerian Heldentenors of our time.
Giacomo Puccini MADAMA BUTTERFLY Opera in three acts, in Italian with Hungarian, English, and Italian subtitles
As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
