Pergolesi operatörténetet írt, amikor 23 évesen megkomponálta Az úrhatnám szolgáló című intermezzóját, amelyet 1733-ban egy másik opera szüneteiben a közönség szórakoztatására adtak elő, később ez a mű vált a vígopera alapkövévé. A kétszereplős művet most korhű barokk hangszereken hallhatjuk, Novák Eszter korokon és stílusokon átívelő rendezésében.
