A páratlan zenei világú, vérbő francia musical comedy szereplői egy házaspár vidékről, egy anya a majdnem felnőtt fiával, egy különleges sorsú bárénekesnő és egy mellőzött másodtiszt… Közös bennük, hogy mindannyian hatalmas reményekkel szállnak fel a Titanas tengerjáró fedélzetére, hogy a szárazföldön hagyhassák megoldatlan, unalmas életüket.
Közös, hogy a hajóút során kiderül róluk, senki és semmi nem az, aminek látszik. S mi a közös bennük még? Sokkal több, mint ahogy azt ők maguk gondolják. Titkaik, hazugságaik elképesztően humoros helyzetekbe sodorják őket, miközben nem tudni, a hajó hová is tart velük.
