A mi történetünk Nicol és Éric sorsa. Két egyszerű kis ember a monmartre-i bohémok között, szegényesen, boldogságban él, ám kiderül valami ami szétrobbantja a harmóniát. Vad féltékenység, egymást gyötrő és öngyötrő indulatok kavarognak. A párizsi éjszakai élet pikáns erotikája, a mulatók könnyelmű, de segítőkész alakjai még fokozzák akarva-akaratlanul a zavaros eseményeket. Mindez kalandos humorral átszőve, fülbemászó dallamokkal, látványos táncok varázslatával olyan élmény, mintha a néző turista lenne Párizsban.
