A 2025-26-os szezon estéin ugyanis nem kortársak kerülnek majd egymás mellé a két kimagasló tudású, és lehengerlő humorú történész előadásában, hanem zeneszerzők és olyan történelmi, vagy épp mitológiai alakok, akikről e komponisták nevezetes operákat és egyéb emblematikus műveket alkottak. Így aztán jókora, akár évezredes távolság is elválaszthatja majd egymástól a párhuzamos életrajzok hőseit: az ókori Róma legendás alakjait, a kora újkor tragikus életű uralkodóit és az antik mítoszok hőseit, valamint az őket fő- és címszereplőül választó barokk, romantikus, vagy akár modern zeneszerzőket.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
