Mi történik akkor, ha egy bombariadó miatt kiürítik az Operát, és az énekeseket úgy kergetik ki az utcára a biztonsági emberek, hogy még a jelmezüket sincs módjuk átcserélni a polgári ruhájukra? És mi történik akkor, ha egy peches napja után a Papagenót játszó művész, talpig tollban, a metróban összetalálkozik egy punk-lánnyal, aki kineveti őt madárjelmezében?

Vagy mi történik akkor, ha nem lehet egyértelműen eldönteni, a jelmez ment-e össze, vagy az énekes hízta ki azt? Ugyan mi történik akkor, ha a korrepetitor-nőnek fontosabb magánéleti válságának a megoldása, mint az operista felkészítése a szerepére? S vajon mi történik akkor, ha a dramaturgnő által elküldött új szövegfordítás nem jut el az énekesig, vagy, ha eljut is, ő ezt letagadja, és nem tanulja meg? Egyébként pedig, mi történik akkor, ha a rendező utálja az operaénekest az apja miatt, a hangja miatt, a levegővétele miatt?
Mellékesen, mi történik akkor, ha egy statisztacsaj a nővére esküvőjén együtt akar énekelni Papagenónkkal, és fizetségül természetbeli juttatást ajánl föl neki? S főleg, mi történik akkor, ha egy igazgatónőnek hat macskája van, közülük az egyik – a Karcsi – megbetegszik, és ilyen teherrel a vállán kell kirúgnia az operistát a társulatból? A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
