A Pannon Filharmonikusok a Nikisch Artúr-bérletben rendezett hangversenyének műsorát Velence nagy muzsikusa, Antonio Vivaldi ragyogó versenyműve indítja két gordonkára és vonószenekarra. A program folytatásában a romantikus csellórepertoár egyik legnagyobb remeke, Robert Schumann 1850-ben komponált, a zenei mélység és a hangszeres virtuozitás ritka egyensúlyát kínáló Csellóversenye csendül fel a világhírű gordonkaművész, Várdai István tolmácsolásában. A hangversenyt Schubert hatalmas léptékű alkotása, a Schumann által felfedezett, „mennyei hosszúságú” Nagy C-dúr szimfónia zárja. A koncert dirigense, a Pannon Filharmonikusok művészeti vezetője, Bogányi Tibor, aki a nyitószámban – eredeti „szakmájához” visszatérve – csellistaként is a győri közönség elé lép.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
