Pál Feri Atya a humor eszköztárát is segítségül hívva szemlélteti a különböző élethelyzeteket, nehézségeket, amelyekbe sokszor magunkat sodorjuk bele.
Pál Ferinek, katolikus pap volta ellenére fontos, hogy az előadásai semlegesek legyenek, hiszen bárki részt vehet rajtuk, és nem kell semmilyen vallási, ideológiai elvárásnak megfelelnie. Előadásaira jellemző a strukturáltság és az érintett szakirodalom intenzív használata, valamint a közvetlen, gyakran csapongó, humoros történetek mesélésére is építő stílus. A „pálferi” jelenséget, ha valaki egyszer megtapasztalja, könnyen függővé válik.

As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.

Following on the heels of the introductory Das Rheingold, this opera about the tragic love between two of Wotan's children constitutes the start of the more tightly drawn dramatic trilogy. Once again, the laws of the gods clash: can paternal love save a lad who has violated the sanctity of marriage?
