Kansast, a kis Dorka otthonát hatalmas forgószél lepi meg, és a tornádó csodálatos helyre, Óz birodalmába repíti a kislányt. Útja során barátokat szerez az Oroszlán, a Madárijesztő és a Bádogember személyében, ám egy kegyetlen ellenséggel, a Boszorkánnyal is szembe kerül.

Our offer
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes. The piano afternoons and matinees are for them, about them, and inspired by them.
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
