A zenemű elhangzása közben a szerzőnek az expedíciójáról készített afrikai úti filmjét láthatják, melyben az egyes tételekhez kapcsolódó, azokat ihlető táncok, népszokások, emberek is megjelennek. A műben fantasztikus módon kapcsolódik össze a müezzin imája a keresztény Kyriével, az afrikai harci tánc a Crucifixusszal. A szerző élete végéig javíthatatlanul hitt az emberek összetartozásában és mindenhol fellelhető lelki közösségében.
