A történet az Édes Alkony szanatóriumban játszódik, ahol éppen az ország egyik legismertebb színésze, Szepi, a rehabilitációját tölti. Váratlanul megjelenik Szepi legjobb barátja, Pajor Vilmos – szintén színész –, egy ledér fiatal hölgy kíséretében. Természetesen nosztalgiázni kezdenek, felelevenednek bennük a múltbeli emlékek, amikor is megjelenik Vili felesége… Mindennek tetejében egy gyilkos is csatlakozik a társasághoz. Felemelő, mulatságos, szarkasztikus, ez az Édes Alkony zenével.
