Furinka a légynek sem tud ártani. Pedig Furinkától mindenki azt várja, hogy ártson: légynek, cicának, legénynek. Mert Furinka boszorkány. Csakhogy Furinka nem akar boszorkány lenni. Aki nem akar boszorkány lenni, az nem varázsolhat magának uzsonnára zsíros kenyeret, következésképpen: dolgoznia kell. Furinka nem fél a munkától, bármit elvállal: takarít, levelet kézbesít, fest és mázol. Azaz takarítana, levelet kézbesítene, festene és mázolna, ha hűséges seprűje hűségével meg nem nehezítené Furinka életét...
