A legkisebbeknek szóló mesében két emberi alakot öltött házi-manó évődik egymással.
Ébredésük után mintha álmaik elevenednének meg: életre keltik a Házikót, benne Cicussal, Kutyussal és Egérkével. Megismerjük az Erdőben élő Kismadarat és a Kíváncsi Nyuszit, megtudjuk hogyan barátkozik össze Felhővel Medve, és hogyan menekül meg Halacska attól, hogy Cicus vacsorája legyen.
A mese végén a Házi-manók segítségével minden kisgyermek kézbe veheti a báb-szereplőket és tovább játszhatja a történetet.

A közös játék végén pedig mindenkire vár a titokzatos „Nagy Ágybevetés”…
