– Csinálom a dolgomat, aztán majd ha olyan, észreveszik.
– És ha nem?
– Hát igen, és ha nem. Na, ide azzal a mézeskaláccsal.”

A Nagymamával álmodtam egy különleges harmadik-generációs trauma-feldolgozást segítő, mégis sok humorral átitatott színházi stand up / monodráma. Az előadás azt az egy hónapot mutatja be, amelyben a 35 éves főszereplő, Göndör László – a pandémia valamint önismereti válsága kellős közepén – összeköltözött a 97 éves holokauszt-túlélő nagymamájával.

Nagymama és unokája 32 napon keresztül próbálták megérteni egymás fájdalmait, traumáit és az egymás iránt érzett mély szeretetet.

Göndör László és nagymamája, Katona Éva beszélgetéseiből és visszaemlékezéseiből a szöveget írta és szerkesztette: Bódi Zsófia, Laboda Kornél Dzsangaman és Göndör László.

Monodrama in 90 minutes.

– I do my job, and if it’s worth it, they will notice.
– But what if it’s not?
– Well… if it’s not. Now give me that gingerbread.”

I Dreamt of Grandma is a theatrical stand-up / monodrama infused with humour, exploring third-generation trauma. The play presents a specific month in the life of the 35-year-old protagonist, László Göndör, who – in the midst of the pandemic and an identity crisis – moves in with his 97-year-old Holocaust-survivor grandmother.

For 32 days, grandmother and grandson try to understand each other’s pain, trauma, and the deep love they share.

The play was written and edited by Zsófia Bódi, Kornél Laboda Dzsangaman and László Göndör, based on conversations and recollections between László Göndör and his grandmother, Éva Katona.
