Az Experidance Tánctársulat és a Nemzeti Táncszínház legújabb közös, (őszi) bemutatója Arany János azonos című vígeposzából készült két részes táncjáték, tele költészettel, humorral, s olyan bravúros koreográfiával mely az együttes stílusát jól ismerő, s azt szerető nézőket is meg fogja lepni.

Nagyidai cigányok
Arany János költeménye, (melyet 1852-ben írt a szabadságharc paródiájaként) megtörtént eseményen alapul: A XVII. század végén Puch generális labanc serege ostromolta Nagyida várát. A várat védő magyarok, élükön Perédi várkapitánnyal, mikor látták, hogy fogytán az erő, az élelem, a lőszer, egy éjjel kiszöktek az ostromlott várból, hátrahagyva Csóri vajdát, és cigányait, hogy ezután védjék ők a várát. Hogy mekkora öröm fogta el erre a Nagyidai hős cigányokat, hogy mekkora ünnep, mekkora részegség, mily szép álom lepte meg őket, és főleg mekkora dicsőség.. mindezt meséli el kétszer ötven percben az este, sok-sok humorral, bravúros táncokkal, reméljük mindannyiunk örömére. There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
