A Mozgófénykép hősei a kor moziszínészeinek nevét viselik, ki-ki azt, aki egy korabeli filmben játszotta volna. A fordulatok is ismerősek: ifjú, ám sértődékeny szerelmesek, rosszlány jó szívvel, egy régi de soha nem múló szerelmi háromszög a sármőr, a díva és a gazdag gyáros között.
Nényei Pál darabjában a harmincas-negyvenes évek édes-bús filmjeinek atmoszférája jelenik meg: a nyúlszőrkalapok, vikszoló szobalányok, dinsztelt őzgerincek, az egymást csaló sármőrök és dizőzök világa. A békés-boldog zsivajban alig hallatszanak a Horthy-korszak nyomasztó akkordjai.
Egy filmvégjáték korabelinek tűnő slágerekkel, melyek zenéjét Dinyés Dániel, szövegét Hajós András írta.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
