Marosi főhadnagy elhatározza, hogy kideríti Éva történetét és rejtélyes halálának okát. Nem tudjuk meg, ki ölt meg kit és miért, de Marosi a már nem élő Éva segítségével talán közelebb jut önmagához…
A Törvényen belül-ben benne van az egész elmúlt rendszer és minden, ami hat ma is: kiskapuk, kompromisszumok, titkos szeretők, elhallgatások, elhazudott életek és mindezzel szemben Éva, aki nem hajlandó a megalkuvásra. Hiszen „Miféle hűség az, amire falakkal kell vigyázni?”
