A fiatal és szabadlelkű költő írásában rengeteg humorral és szeretettel beszél vándorszínész éveiről, útitársairól, a városokról, amiket bejár, emberekről, akiket útja során megismer. 19. századi „road movie” nem várt modernséggel a nagy klasszikus tollából.
