Az ünnepelt színész házaspár szalonjában vagyunk. A férj, az országos hírű Színész barátjának, a Kritikusnak arról panaszkodik, hogy félti a házasságát; fél év nász után talán már meg is unta őt a felesége, a Színésznő – sőt, lehet, hogy az asszony már ki is szeretett belőle. Ilyenkor egy férfinek lépnie kell: vissza kell hódítania a feleségét. A Színész erre egy kissé bizarr, de hibátlannak tűnő ötletet talál ki: testőrnek öltözik, s így, a katonatiszt személyében kezd el udvarolni a saját nejének,
illetve megpróbálja zavarba hozni, hűtlenségen kapni. El is kezdődik a nagy visszaszerző hadművelet, ám – ahogy az Molnárnál lenni szokott – nem egészen úgy alakulnak a dolgok, ahogy a Színész és a nézők sejtik…

The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English.
