Olyan ügyesen, olyan játszi könnyedséggel hiteti el a nézőkkel, hogy bizony van olyan, hogy egy feleség nem ismeri meg a férjét, csak azért, mert az álruhát hord, ahogy a darabbeli színész és színésznő hitetik el egymással, hogy lehetnek boldogok. És ha mi elhisszük, hogy lehetnek boldogok, akkor azok is lesznek! A maguk furcsa, bolondos, molnárferenci módján szeretik egymást, és ha már megcsalásra kerül a sor, akkor is gondoskodnak arról, hogy egymással csalják meg egymást... csak még előtte: legyen bonyodalom! Legyen igazi színház!
