„A komédia az a látható forma, amivel a természet ruházott fel mindent, ami ésszerűtlen, azért, hogy meglássuk és ugyanakkor el is tudjuk kerülni ezt az ésszerűtlenséget. Hogy fel tudjuk ismerni a komikust, tudnunk kell mi a racionális; meg kell látni annak hiányát, és ennek segítségével megállapítani miből is áll az ésszerűség...” - írta Molière a Tartuffe védelmében. Mert támadták érte. Betiltották, átíratták, kiátkozással fenyegetőztek. És persze imádták és bemutatták azóta is megszámlálhatatlan alkalommal. Mert az ember lényege szerint nem változik. És a legtöbbet az ember hazudik. Nincs virága, tollazata, amivel becsaphatná a környezetét. Ezért a nyelve a hazugság eszköze.
Molière halhatatlan, örök érvényű komédiáját Parti Nagy Lajos varázsolta lendületesen maivá.
Our offer
As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English.
