Koncertjei azóta is megőrizték ezt az alapvetően akusztikus hangzást, de a mostani műsorban ez még nagyobb hangsúlyt kap. Ennek érdekében sok dalt áthangszereltek, és az új hangzásban fontos szerepe van a produkcióban most először megjelenő vonósnégyesnek is. A többiek, a hosszú évek óta együtt játszó, virtuóz zenészekből álló Zorán-csapat is mindent megtesz azért, hogy az összhatás még élvezhetőbb és még attraktívabb legyen.
Ami a Zorán-koncerteknél már évtizedek óta változatlan, az a magas művészi színvonal, a zenélésnek a közönségre is átragadó öröme, és a mindent átható profizmus.
És még van valami, amiben biztosra mehetünk Zoránnál: nem akar a „babérjain ücsörögni”, és erős szándék munkál benne, hogy évről-évre valami újjal örvendeztesse meg közönségét.
A szlogen most sem változott: mindig másképp!

Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
