Életéről ugyanakkor viszonylag keveset tudunk, bizonyára azért is, mert ő is így akarta. Titkai hozzátartoztak imázsához, izgalmassá, érdekessé tették és teszik alakját. Jellegzetes hangját máig nagyon sokan ismerik, filmjei még mindig népszerűek, dalainak pedig elég csak a címét említeni: Hamvadó cigarettavég, Gyűlölöm a vadvirágos rétet, Mindig az a perc, Hiába menekülsz…
Volt egyszer egy Ópiumkeringő a Pesti Magyar Színházban. Lengyel Ferenc színdarabja egy döbbenetes erejű történet sikerről, hűségről, emberségről, hazáról és mindenek fölött szerelemről. Az előadás átütő erővel mutatta meg Karády lelki mélységeit. Ezt a lendületet viszi tovább a mostani produkció, immár a darab dalainak koncert változataként.
Pataki Szilvia a már megszokott hitelességgel mutatja be Karády életének alig ismert történéseit. Az ikonikus dalokat ezúttal zongorakísérettel hallhatjuk.
Garantált, hogy az érdeklődő közönség még napokig az ismert slágereket dúdolja majd.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English.
