A Győri Nemzeti Színház előadása
Olt Tamás: Minden jegy elkelt
Időtartam: 2 óra 30 perc, 1 szünettel.

A magyar színházművészet egyik legmeghatározóbb alakja a sokszor méltatlanul meghurcolt, kalandos életű színészlegenda, Fedák Sári. A mű három idősíkot ölel. A jelen Nyáregyháza, szobakonyha, ahol az egykori díva társalkodónőjével csendesen tengődve a nagy visszatérésre készül. Másik idősík a távoli múlt, ifjúkori nosztalgia, Fedák kezdeti szárnyalása és későbbi tündöklése. A harmadik, Fedák Sári, báb ítészek és hamis tanúk sorával folytatott tárgyalása, a híres Fedák per, ahol az ajtón kis cédula tudatta az érdeklődőkkel: " Minden jegy elkelt".

Our offer

The tale of Leander the goblin and Princess Linseed, brimming with magic and a seemingly unbreakable curse, not to mention a wealth of twists and turns, is a genuinely good yarn. Set to a libretto by Barnabás Szöllősi that is based on Andor Szilágyi's fable for the theatre and written at the OPERA's request in the 2014/15 season, Erkel Prize-winning composer Zsófia Tallér's masterful, expressive and entertaining music makes this Hungarian fairy tale opera an enjoyable experience for children and adults alike, and, we hope, a possible future classic.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.

As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
