Egy francia tengerparti hotel két egymás melletti szobájában, két frissen egybekelt pár kezdi a mézesheteit. Az csupán véletlen, hogy az egyik újdonsült férj volt felesége, jelenleg a másik szobában, mint ifjú asszony készülődik a nászéjszakára. Bizarr a helyzet és a kitűnő szerző, Noël Coward remek humorral bonyolítja az eseményeket. Végül már senki sem tudja, kihez tartozik igazán. Veled vagy nélküled? De ki kivel és ki nélkül? Mindenesetre, míg a szereplők a válaszokat keresik, az alatt a közönség garantáltan jól szórakozik.
