Farkas Gábor zongoraművész és Farkas Róbert karmester egy év különbséggel ugyanabban a városban, Ózdon születtek, de nem rokonok. Gábor a budapesti Zeneakadémia elvégzése után több hazai és nemzetközi versenyen ért el dobogós helyezést, világszerte koncertezik, a Zeneakadémia tanszékvezető tanára és a Tokyo College of Music professzora. Róbert először kórusvezetést tanult a Zeneakadémián, karmesteri tanulmányait Berlinben fejezte be és azóta ott él, több rangos német operaházban vezényel és számos koncertfelkérésnek is eleget tesz itthon is. Műsoruk a romantika korának három nagy szerzőjét idézi meg, Schumann, Brahms és Liszt egy-egy művét megszólaltatva.
