Sündör és Niru frizbije átrepül a kerítésen. Mikor utána másznak, felfedezik a Csillanó Fém Birodalmát, ahol fényállatkák pislannak, és zajgyerekek csörömpölnek. Sündörön elhatalmasodik a fények iránti vágy, és barátját hátra hagyva útra kell, hogy megszerezze a Napot. Persze Niru sem ül ölbe tett kézzel – csak maradjon elég csoffasztott gesztenye az útra.
Sündör és Niru elveszítik, majd újra megtalálják egymást. Történetükön keresztül a barátságról, felelősségről, birtoklásról és az elérhetetlen utáni vágyról gondolkozhatunk. Végül a frizbi is megkerül.
