Can great music be “aggressive”? How can wildness and rigorousness coexist? In his famous poem, Bartók, Gyula Illyés delved into these and other questions of art and ethics. This evening the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble and Dohnányi Orchestra Budafok recreate Illyés and Bartók’s dialogue with wild dance, rigorous poetry, and great music.
