Győri Filharmonikus Zenekar a Richter-bérletben megrendezett hangversenyét Wagner 1868-ben diadalmas sikerrel bemutatott A nürnbergi mesterdalnokok című operájának szimfonikus hangversenyeken is gyakran hallható, ünnepi fényben fürdő Előjátéka indítja. A folytatásban Mozart négy kürtversenye közül az 1783 májusában befejezett, derűs második versenymű csendül fel, amelyet jó barátjának Joseph Leitgebnek ajánlott a mester. Az igényes szólót a számos nemzetközi versenyen diadalmaskodó fiatal magyar kürtművésznő, Fröschl Éva Lilla, a Bajor Állami Operaház zenekarának tagja szólaltatja meg. A szünet után a 19–20. század fordulójának egyik emblematikus nagy darabja, Mahler 1901–02-ben komponált, az érzelmek-hangulatok szinte felfoghatatlanul széles skáláját bejáró monumentális 5. (cisz-moll) szimfóniája szólal meg a hegedűművészként is igen elismert, fiatal osztrák karmester, Christoph Koncz vezényletével, aki ezúttal dirigensként lép édesapja, a Győri Filharmonikus Zenekar egykori igazgató karmestere, Koncz Tamás nyomába.

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
