A Jókai bicentenárium alkalmából bemutatott előadásban vers és próza felelnek egymásnak, melyet Tallián Mariann hegedűjátéka kísér. A korabeli szalonmuzsika és Jókai Mór, a Cigánybáró című operettjének dallamai közben a szerző elmélyült filozófiai gondolatmenetei és hazafias versei váltakoznak.
Jókai Mór nemcsak azért fontos a magyarságnak, mert munkásságával letette modern prózairodalmunk alapköveit, de személyisége is megkerülhetetlen, akiben az alkotó és a közéleti szereplő vitathatatlanul egybeforrt. A nemzet érdekeit mindig egyéni ambíciói elé helyezte, s hazaszeretetéből virágoztak ki legnagyszerűbb művei. Egyszerre hordozott saját idejében aktuális, de a jövő befogadója számára is maradandó üzenetet: egy csillagködképletet, mely a magyarságba és az emberiségbe vetett hitének szimbóluma.
A Magyar Írószövetség Csillagködképlet című előadásának létrehozását a KIM és az MMA támogatta.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
