Lúdas Matyi, a furfangos parasztfiú, aki igazságot keres, miután a dölyfös és kapzsi Döbrögi igazságtalanul megalázza őt. Matyi megfogadja: „Háromszor veri ezt kenden Lúdas Matyi vissza!” – és így is tesz! Ügyességgel, leleménnyel és álruhás csínyekkel háromszor is túljár Döbrögi eszén.
Az előadás humorral, tanulsággal és vásári bábjátékkal idézi meg Fazekas Mihály klasszikus történetét, amelyben a jó elnyeri jutalmát, a rossz pedig méltó büntetését.
Ajánlott minden korosztálynak, az előadás a bábszínház és a vásári komédiák varázsát egyesíti.
