Tornyai Péter: RONDeau
Tornyai Péter RONDeau című kísérlete egy kifordított körtánc, ahol három dobos ütésein keresztül jön létre a hangok térbeli mozgása, keringése. A cím utal erre a körtáncra, illetve az állapotok újra és újra visszatérésének formájára. Ez az út azonban nem annyira kör- mint inkább spirál-szerű. A dobolás és pulzáció fiziológiai, spirituális, kozmikus, rituális asszociációkat kelthet, a folyamat megkomponált ritmus-transzformációi, "idő-gyűrődései" a résztvevők idő- és térérzékelését tartják állandó változásban.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
