Töretlen hagyomány és folyamatos megújulás – ez az olyannyira harmonikus kettősség jellemzi az idén félszáz esztendős Liszt Ferenc Kamarazenekar egész történetét. A kezdet kezdetén a Zeneakadémia végzős hallgatói álltak össze közös muzsikálásra, nagyhatású professzoruk, Sándor Frigyes vezénylete alatt, ám az együttes hamar kinőtte a növendékzenekar szerepét.

Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
