Hatvanas-hetvenes évek Magyarországa. E családban semmi se normális. A kislány egy fedél alatt él az apjával, egy picike, lehetetlen lakásban. A lány vadóc. Az apa egy aprócska termetű, süketnéma férfi. Aki ráadásul festőművész. Meg, amúgy, profi bokszoló. Ilyen zsidóembert még nem látott a világ. Anya sehol. Ez a monodráma a szeretet és a mély összetartozás története. Meg a nagy kaland története is, a sanghaji zsidó közösségtől, Szálasin, Hruscsovon át, a Ki-mit-tud színpadáig, egy kalandé, amit úgy hívunk: XX. század.

What happens when the worst traits of a power-hungry prince incapable of resisting earthly pleasures, a morally corrupt, vengeful, manipulative woman, and a desire-driven but highly impressionable teenage girl all erupt at the same time upon the appearance of a holy man?
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
