A magyar színjátszás hőskorát idéző történetben Szilvai professzor titokban nevelt gyámleányát, Mariskát, fiához akarja adni. A fiú közben, mint istenadta tehetségű vándorszínész, Liliomfi néven sikert sikerre halmoz, és Mariskával a mindenható kifürkészhetetlen akaratából egymásba szeretnek. Ezt az égieknek köszönhető hepiendszerű kezdetet vajon mennyire bonyolíthatják meg a földhözragadt földiek? Vajh mily és főleg mennyi cselszövés és ármány kell ahhoz, hogy az ember az istenek akaratával szembeszegülve elérje azt, amit az istenek elrendeltek neki?

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
