Ballada két, egymásra utalt ember néma szerelméről. Ének a Paradicsomból való kiűzetésről. A végzet játéka egy olyan emberrel, aki nem ismert megalkuvást, kerülte a törvényt és a hétköznapokat. Molnár Ferenc vurstli-áhítatú, édes-bús legendája a maga kedves érzelmességével, a tiszta szívű vagányok és a szerelmes kis cselédek kétségkívül hatásos sablonromantikájával a magyar drámairodalom egyik legtöbbet játszott darabja. Az előadást a Vörösmarty Színház igazgatója, Szikora János rendezte.
Our offer
For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
