Gróf Illésházy László eladja adósságát vagyis ősi birtokát az iparos, bárói címét pénzért szerzett Malomszeginek, aki lányával, Lilivel, illetve annak vőlegényjelöltjével, Frédivel költözik a házba. Éppen akkor, amikor a gróf távozóban van a kastélyból. Malomszegi inasnak hiszi őt, s felfogadja komornyiknak. Így két legyet üt egy csapásra: egyrészt megtetszik neki Lili, másrészt a saját birtokán maradhat. Olyan ismert slágerekkel fűszerezzük ezt a kedves történetet, mint: Az egy kis cigaretta, a Tündérkirálynő légy a párom, vagy a Gyere csókolj meg tubicám.

A Streetcar Named Desire is Marianna Venekei's first full-length choreography. The project, lovingly nurtured for many years, is a collaboration between her and composer-saxophonist László Dés.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
