Bernard, a fiatal francia sztárépítész, vérbeli playboy, menő lakásából Párizs csodálatos panorámájában gyönyörködhet, meg persze meseszép menyasszonyában, akit mámorosan szeret, de mámorosan szereti másik menyasszonyát is. És a harmadikat is. Mert egy modern férfinak ugye három menyasszony az ideális, csak mind légiutas-kísérők legyenek, s menetrend szerint elkerüljék egymást. Bertha, a házvezetőnő nemzetközi konyhát visz, a menü szinte óráról órára változik. Ráadásul betoppan Bernard gyerekkori barátja, Robert is. Bernard boldog életét azonban váratlanul felborítják a Párizs feletti kedvezőtlen légköri viszonyok.

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.

Once again, the laws of the gods clash: can paternal love save a lad who has violated the sanctity of marriage?
