A József Attila Színház és az Újnyugat Irodalmi Kör közös irodalmi szalon - sorozata. A cigány irodalmi est egyfajta áttekintést ad a cigányság jelenlétéről irodalmunkban, olyan legendás szerzők segítségével, mint Babits Mihály, Vörösmarty Mihály, Krúdy Gyula vagy Weöres Sándor. Nem késik persze – a Legendák nyomában-estek hagyományaihoz illően – a kortárs „válasz” sem, hiszen a jelenkori roma és nem roma szerzők egyként fontosnak érzik a cigányság értékeinek, életének bemutatását, pátoszok nélkül, őszintén. A nem hétköznapi meglepetéseket tartogató produkció részese: Choli Daróczi József, költő.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
