Több dal magyarul is nagy karriert futott be, ám ezek feldolgozása az eredeti szöveg hangulatához igazodik. „A latin zene minden hangulatomban megérint. Legyek vidám vagy szomorú, bizakodó vagy csüggedt.” – vallja Papadimitriu Athina. Zenésztársa, Kutik Rezső a komolyzene világából csatlakozott a színésznőhöz. Az album dalaira felfűzött színpadi játékban Athina elmeséli a dalok keletkezésének történetét, tartalmát. Külön érdekességként néhány dal megelevenedik a tánc nyelvén is, a flamencó magyarországi királynőjének, Lippai Andreának előadásában. Az est kiemelkedő momentumának számít, amikor Athina lányával Trokán Annával lép színpadra, aki külön blokkal is szerepel. Brazil bossanova, argentin tangó, mexikói folklór, latin jazz - mindez egy két részes meghitt hangulatú esten.

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
Pairing the two German composers, Wagner and the Wagnerian Strauss in a single evening creates a sweeping and overwhelming fusion of expansive melodies and driving dramatic force. The encounter between Wagner’s mythical intensity and Strauss’s modernism is a dialogue between two musical giants who reshaped not only German but also international musical life. In the performance of the OPERA Orchestra, their compositions promise deep emotions, dense musical textures, and sonic grandeur.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
