1912 és 1929 között, majdnem két évtizeden át folytak az arzén mérgezések a Tiszazugban. Asszonyok mérgeztek, akik a méregre gyógyszerként tekintettek, mely megszabadítja őket a terheiktől; részeges, bántalmazó férjüktől, magatehetetlen idős hozzátartozójuktól.
Szcenírozott felolvasószínházi bemutatónk során Korda Bonifác Tiszazug című drámája és a Nők a Nőkért Együtt az Erőszak Ellen Egyesülethez befutó segélyhívó beszélgetések szövegeinek felhasználásával vizsgáljuk a múlt és jelen kapcsolatát.
Az előadást kerekasztal beszélgetés követi az alkotókkal és a nézőkkel, amelyen meghívott vendégeink lesznek Dupcsik Csaba szociológus-történész (Károli Gáspár Református Egyetem, HUN-REN TK Szociológiai Intézet), valamint Bakai Lili és Csipka Szilvia, a NANE munkatársai.

Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
