Sokan tudják, hogy Lackfi János, aki József Attila- és Prima Primissima-díjas író, költő- egyben remek előadó is, aki igazán elemében van a pódiumon! Mesélni szokott, közben többször felolvas. Negyvenöt kötete jelent meg, részben felnőtteknek, részben gyerekeknek. Eddigi legnagyobb sikere a Milyenek a magyarok? című humoros kötete közel 37000 eladott példánynál jár. Több készülőfélben lévő, nagylélegzetű próza közül végül tizenegy év után a Levágott fül című regénye készült el, mely 2018 őszén jelent meg.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
