A kulisszák mögé kalauzol minket, egy amerikai filmforgatás kellős közepén találjuk magunkat Írországban. A fergeteges folytatást a két főszereplő, két statiszta biztosítja, akik úgy mesélik el a történetet, hogy a forgatáson megforduló összes karaktert (férfit, nőt válogatás és kegyelem nélkül) maguk keltik életre. Ám percenként, néha másodpercenként átváltozó szereplők akciója mögött felsejlik a mai Írország vallási, etnikai, politikai kétarcúsága, a tradíció és az elkerülhetetlen (?) amerikanizálódás közötti vergődése. A két bravúrszerepet két bravúrszínész, Rudolf Péter és Kálloy Molnár Péter alakítja.

Our offer

The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes.

“I've captured a terrific storm of elements and of hearts which gradually calms to Brünnhilde's magic sleep,” Wagner on the score of Die Walküre, in a letter to Ferenc Liszt. Following on the heels of the introductory Das Rheingold, this opera about the tragic love between two of Wotan's children constitutes the start of the more tightly drawn dramatic trilogy. Once again, the laws of the gods clash: can paternal love save a lad who has violated the sanctity of marriage?

Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
