Az énekesnő az 1965-ös Ki mit tud? óta megkerülhetetlen szereplője a hazai könnyűzenei életnek. Egyedülálló énekhangjának a műfaji korlátok soha nem szabnak határt; otthonosan mozog a rock, jazz, beat, funk, blues, soul, rock and roll, hard rock, spirituálé, rockopera, tánczene, operett vagy akár az opera világában. Kovács Kati 50 év alatt több mint 500 dalt énekelt, a Vigadó-beli koncert e gazdag, páratlan életmű sokszínű világába kalauzolja a hallgatóságot.
