„Mindig óriási élményt ad a vele való közös munka, mind e mellett egy olyan remek zenekar kísér a koncerten, mint a Budapesti Vonósok Kamarazenekar, akikkel még akadémista koromban játszottam utoljára” – Kovács Anikó.
Kovács Anikó tanulmányait Lányi Margitnál kezdte, majd 13 évesen felvételt nyert a Zeneakadémia előkészítő tagozatára Szenthelyi Miklós osztályába. Tizennyolc évesen megnyerte a Greensboroban (USA) megrendezett Eastern Music Festivál hegedűversenyét. A Zeneakadémián tanárai voltak Szenthelyi Miklós, Mihály András és Devich Sándor – 1990-ben művész diplomát kapott. 1991-ben a kiváló amerikai professzor Don Weilerstein meghívására a Cleveland Institute of Musicon – a Soros és a Cleveland Institute of Music ösztöndíjasaként folytatta képzését. 1991-ben asszisztens koncertmesterként részt vett az Aspen Music fesztiválon, majd a CIM versenyének egyik helyezettje. Amerikai művészdiplomájának megszerzése után visszatér Magyarországra, ahol eleinte elsősorban a Magyar Virtuózok Kamarazenekar alapító tagjaként vesz részt a zenei életben. A Katar Filharmonikusok és a Katar Zeneakadémia alapító tagja – emellett számos hazai zenekarral lépett fel szólistaként. A Budapest Szimfonikusokkal 2013-ban jelentette meg harmadik szóló lemezét.

Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
