A hajdani orfeumok emlékezetes világát az egykori kávéházak hangulatával ötvözve idézi meg a Hadart Színház. A színpadon hat színész és egy zenekar - semmi sem szab határt fantáziánk, emlékeink szárnyalásának. El sem hinnék, hogy egy-egy ismert melódia mi mindent képes elmesélni, olykor szeretettel, máskor szemrehányással, boldogan, vagy kétségbeesetten, de mindig személyesen és szenvedélyesen. Darvas Ferenc, e világ egyik leghivatottabb szakértője, válogatásában olyan dalok csendülnek fel például, mint a Gyere, te nímand, a Mily mesés a niagara vízesés, a Fizetek főúr, a Valaki kell nekem is stb…

While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
