Nem túl gyakran fordul elő egy átlagosnak mondott életben, hogy öt különböző embert bezárjanak egy ablak nélküli szobába, majd közéjük dobjanak egyetlen pisztolyt. A furcsa és akár drámainak is felfogható színpadi társasjátéknak pedig ez a lényege. Az juthat ki, azé lehet a kulcs, akinél a fegyver van. A fegyver körbejár. Mindenkinél elidőzik így szabadság esélye, és a többiek feletti hatalom lehetősége. Lehetne a történet akár egy lélektani dráma, mégsem az. Inkább bohózat, amiben az abszurd helyzet szolgáltat alkalmat arra, hogy kinevessük a raboskodó ötöst, miközben szentül hisszük, ha mi lennénk ott, inkább a szabadság kellene, mint a hatalom. Vajon mi a végkifejlet? Elsül a fegyver? Hogyan jutnak ki, kijutnak egyáltalán, a kisemberből lett alkalmi hatalmasok?

And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
The tenor, recently awarded the title of Austrian Kammersänger, began his career on operetta stages. After performing in operas by Mozart, Beethoven, and Weber, he has since grown into one of the most significant Wagnerian Heldentenors of our time.
