Kodály Zoltán születésének 140. évfordulója alkalmából a Magyar Rádió művészeti együtteseinek kezdeményezésére egy grandiózus hangversenysorozat vette kezdetét 2022 szeptemberében. A nagyszabású vállalkozás célja, hogy a 2022-23-as évad során a komponista minden kórusra írott darabja elhangozzék valamely vidéki, vagy fővárosi helyszínen.

Kodály Zoltán születésének 140. évfordulója alkalmából a Magyar Rádió művészeti együtteseinek kezdeményezésére egy grandiózus hangversenysorozat vette kezdetét 2022 szeptemberében. A nagyszabású vállalkozás célja, hogy a 2022-23-as évad során a komponista minden kórusra írott darabja elhangozzék valamely vidéki, vagy fővárosi helyszínen. Ehhez hasonló eseményre még sosem volt példa. Először fordul elő a magyar zenei életben, hogy Kodály összes kóruskompozíciója egy évadon belül műsorra kerül, ideértve az oratorikus és az a cappella műveket is. E projekt része a Szolnoki Bartók Béla Kamarakórus KODÁLY-MOZAIK című produkciója is.
A hangversenyt a Bartók Rádió egyenes adásban közvetíti.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
